Achievements and projects that go beyond the pages
Commitment and actions
FABRE is an NGO that isn’t characterized by merely providing solutions but also creating real opportunities for its beneficiaries in countries like Bolivia, Cuba, Guatemala, Ivory Coast and Peru. On top of this, in Spain and other European countries it focuses on social awareness-raising programs. As every year, this Activity Report is its space to celebrate the organization’s actions and achievements and at Calmo, we have helped them put this report together over the last three years. Organizing information strategically and generating a short and attractive document was our goal until now, through our expertise in layout and Editorial Design, but in 2021 FABRE wanted to go one step further. Let us tell you more.
45.446 beneficiaries assisted
An NGO that evolves towards the digital environment
The 2020 activity report is extra special for us, because it is the first time that this document is available in two versions: the printed one, whose target audience is already familiar with enjoying, and a new digital version, which broadens the reader’s sensory experience and allows the document to be shared with a wider audience, as well as increasing traffic on the FABRE website.
This new approach is part of a clear effort to make all of their projects digital, a goal which we have helped them evolve in using our expertise in : the redesign of its website, the digitization of the three editions of its ODS stories, the BeTheChange challenge and the #iDeas2030 initiative recognized by the United Nations.
fundamental educational pillar of the society we want to live in.
Transparency and accessibility
The printed version of the Report brings great value and holds on to its clear exclusivity, while the digital version takes on the form of a landing page that opens the doors to immediacy, making information more democratic while presenting a new way of interacting with FABRE’s annual report.
Transparency is key for FABRE, that is why we have included downloadable documents such as audits and annual balance sheets in the digital version, where partners and collaborators have greater access to information.
Results made even clearer and more visual
The possibilities are endless when it comes to design. That’s why we’ve included even more visual elements than in the printed version: personalized illustrations, color photographs or figures and animated graphs are just some of the elements we’ve added to create a more attractive overall result.
We strived to achieve clean and intuitive navigation, so we avoided overloading design or adding distracting elements. In this way, we focused on offering a simple browsing experience.
FABRE is just a click away
We designed an intuitive structure, where the reader can move from macro to the micro with ease. Each user has the power to decide what they want to see and what they want to interact with, without drowning in a sea of information.
This fast-loading digital design is available on FABRE’s website, meaning the user can interact directly with the rest of the sections, learn more about the Foundation and find out more about other projects.
